In the context of the energy transition, which is still in its infancy and therefore all the more necessary, our innovative technology offers an ecological and economic opportunity to make an important contribution to the transformation of the energy supply system. Biomass and residual material flows are a valuable component of the renewable energy portfolio, in which they can flexibly provide both base load and residual load, and thus important grid system services, independently of sun and wind.
LiPRO Energy converts biomass into valuable heat and electricity with its combined heat and power plants. Biomass that is not suitable for any other material use is used. This biomass comes, for example, from landscape conservation, wood processing residues or waste wood. LiPRO Energy unleashes the full potential of woody biomass in its combined heat and power plants and thus offers an answer to the lack of renewable control or base load elements in the wind and photovoltaic power supply portfolio.
Although it is possible to provide heat and electricity using various types of renewable energy, only a few technologies are able to provide heat and electricity at the same time, regardless of the weather or season. The main environmental advantage of gasifying solid biomass is that it is virtually greenhouse gas-neutral. Compared to pure combustion, it also achieves better exhaust gas values.
The LiPRO combined heat and power plant is a predestined joint investment for energy cooperatives due to its high heat supply, constant and flexible availability and high economic efficiency. The energy cooperatives can become their own heat and electricity supplier in an organized community.
The amortization of a LIPRO CHP plant is in the region of 5 to 7 years, depending on the general conditions of the site and the technical equipment.
