Functional structure of the moving floor drying system CFD

The CFD drying system has a compact design and is a containerized drying system with a sieving function on the moving floor for fines and dust. It has been developed for drying wood chips (e.g. natural P45 or waste wood A1) and similar wood chips. The CFD drying system is suitable for outdoor installation. A filter system with replaceable filter mats is integrated on the air inlet side. The heat supply, and therefore the drying of the wood chips, is controlled by the temperature difference between the top and bottom of the dried material, which is measured by thermal sensors. At the same time, the cycle times for the moving floor (material feed) and the discharge screws for the wood chips and fines are specified.

LiPRO CFD combined with automated conveyor system

The LiPRO conveying system is a useful addition to the CFD drying systems, as it allows the biomass gasification system to be individually adapted to the type of biomass, for example by means of an extended screening unit. This, together with a significantly drier fuel, results in higher availability and improved efficiency of the overall system. The investment in upstream drying and fuel screening using a LiPRO conveyor system for feeding the LiPRO combined heat and power plants is therefore worthwhile in any case. So don’t do things by halves and also opt for a LiPRO CFD drying system to get the full performance out of the LiPRO combined heat and power plants as soon as the fuel is fed in.
