The CFD drying system has a compact design and is a containerized drying system with a sieving function on the moving floor for fines and dust. It has been developed for drying wood chips (e.g. natural P45 or waste wood A1) and similar wood chips. The CFD drying system is suitable for outdoor installation. A filter system with replaceable filter mats is integrated on the air inlet side. The heat supply, and therefore the drying of the wood chips, is controlled by the temperature difference between the top and bottom of the dried material, which is measured by thermal sensors. At the same time, the cycle times for the moving floor (material feed) and the discharge screws for the wood chips and fines are specified.

Thanks to our state-of-the-art, automated conveyor system, the wood chips are fed from the CFD continuous dryer with feed hopper directly into the efficient pyrolysis reactor. This ensures a smooth and effective supply of biomass to enable optimized operation.
